Visions of the Past, Glimpses into the Future
Principal Melissa Martin will be hosting an event for students and parents at the school in celebration of Black History Month. The event will feature special presentations in songs and readings from students and teachers. There will also be a "surprise guest." [Read more]

Summer Youth Programs Registration & Exhibit at the Convention Center
The Department of Employment Services' [DOES] Office of Youth Programs is offering a “Prepare for Success” event down the street at the Convention Center. Young people and parents interested in getting a jump start on summer employment and activities need to have their applications signed by their parents to register. Young people will also need to bring documents verifying: date of birth, their social security number, citizenship/alien status and DC residency. [Read more]
